Elizabeth Chapin of Austin Enneagram and apprentice of Enneagram master Suzanne Stabile, introduces the Enneagram numbers. I felt compelled to take the opportunity to go through Helen Palmer’s chapter about 3s with my daughter Alabel. She modeled “polyphasic activity” by clipping her nails while podcasting with me!!! You will hear it. There are a few things I wish I had followed up on, but I can circle back.

We discuss Type 3 and Chapter 3 of Claudio Naranjo’s book Ennea-Type Structures. Naranjo titles this chapter “Success through Appearances” We liked his use of the word “simulator.” And we liked his very succinct phrase “substitution of appearance for self.”
